Beauty is diverse and every once in a while I come across something that reminds me of just how diverse beauty is. Tartan print is big this season. That is no new news however, the rebirth of Ghana must go print in form of the trendy tartan print is very much new news. Being a Nigerian, the first thing that popped into my head when I saw these was 'that's the Ghana must go print'. Céline executed this print brilliantly.
Thanks to the Phoebe Philo’s Céline Fall Winter 2013 collection, this form of tartan print has been spotted on the runway, off the runway with fashion forward fashionistas rocking the trendy print and also on magazines covers. The recognisable red, blue and white checks has been transformed into dresses, coats, skirts and wait for ittttttt Céline bags.
