The ever so casual denim jacket is a must have. In my opinion everyone needs at least one denim jacket in their wardrobe. Purchasing one is a wise investment as it never goes out of style.

The amazing thing about it is that you can wear anything underneath it and still get that chic look. most people complain that the denim jacket is boring but i beg to differ. I mean there are so many different ways to wear a denim jacket all you have to do is pair it with other fashion items to get a fabulous finish. I don't know what heading to give this look, I'm at a loss of word.   The simplicity and sexiness of it all is getting to me. Rihanna is not only a fashion diva she's also a trendsetter. The baseball cap, the red lipstick and Tom Ford padlock shoe look good on her.

I just discovered LECRAE a super talented American christian hip hop artist.  His lyrics are dope and really deep. 'Identity' is a single from  his third solo album, Rebel, which when released in 2008 reached No. 1 on the Gospel chart, the first Christian hip-hop album to do so. I connected with this song on a whole new level so i'm sharing it with you guys. I hope you like it.

KERRY WASHINGTON Django Unchained

  The first time i noticed the beautiful Kerry Washington was in Save the Last Dance; after which i have to admit i lost track of her career. She however got everyone's attention playing the role of the lead actress in the 2012 ABC drama 'Scandal', a Shonda Rhimes series in which she plays Olivia Pope a crisis management expert.  This gorgeous actress having won our hearts with her incredible acting skills  decided to bring her fashion to the center stage at the premiere of her latest movie and project 'Django Unchained' . 
These are the outfits she wore and she looked fantastic in all of them by the way. ENJOY!!!!

Kerry wore a very unique daring contrast print Peter Pilotto spring 2013 dress which literally left me breathless, pulling off this kind of dress takes a lot of guts. She however looked gorgeous and fearless in the striking number!. She accessorized with navy and black Nicholas Kirkwood heels and very soft, natural-looking makeup.

 She looks stunning in a conservative little white Prada Spring 2013 short-sleeve dress paired with a bright-green Prada clutch. The key hole center and daring cut-out details at the sides added the WOW factor to this LWD. The bright red lip colour and beige Jimmy Choo pumps  provided the finishing touches.

 This time around kerry opted for a Rochas Spring 2013 strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline, A-line silhouette and pleated skirt and really cool print. Keeping accessories to a bare minimum using clip earrings, she complimented her look with a top bun and pink lips.

Kerry looked good on the red carpet in a long-sleeved cream and beige checked Louis Vuitton shift dress with white heels and a matching bow headband. I'm  not really digging this dress but you have to admire the fact that Kerry elegantly pulled it off. On any other person it might have looked drab. Kerry however looks elegant and classy.

Kerry looks like a princess. For this occasion she choose a beautiful white ball gown from the Giles Spring 2013 collection. This unique gown featured a fitted bodice and soft grey pony printed on the skirt with a rise-and-fall hemline.  i soo love this look its my favorite. The white Christian Louboutin pumps she donned was rightly paired with the silver box clutch. The berry lip color  and the wavy updo made this look perfect.

 The beautiful actress wore a J. Mendel Spring 2013 gown on this occasion. The sleeveless chiffon floral-printed gown features a cropped faux-tank overlay, tiered flat ruffles at the hem and an open back. She did justice to the dress by styling it  with a black clutch, gold earrings and a hot-pink lip color.

 The first time i heard this song i wasn't really into it but my sister is a die hard Banky fan and she just wouldn't stop telling me how fantastic the song was. Then i watched the video and i loved it, i mean i just can't get enough. Yes!!! you guessed right the song has been on repeat ever since.  This video makes my heart go 'jim kele le'. Everything about this video is PERFECT. The storyline, the choreography and Banky's style which is impeccable by the way made this video a fantastic one. ENJOY!!!!!

A GENTLEMAN'S POCKET SQUARE

A pocket square on a man’s suit is impressive. It's an iconic piece used to add some finishing panache to a suit so as to distinguish one’s self.  The beauty of the pocket square is that adds elegance and sophistication to your outfit. It gives you an edge and distinguishes you. Nothing says gentleman like a pocket square. Below are pictures of some of my favorite celebrity gentlemen sporting the pocket square.

PRINCE CHARLES   All hail  His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales. Prince Charles really is the epitome of style and good taste. The stripped suit, the tie and the silk pocket square neatly tucked in his suit pocket looks amazing.  But then he's royalty we wouldn't expect less from him would we?

                 

 TOM CRUISE   The Mission Impossible star sure looks top gun in this clean cut well tailored suit. His decision  to go with the white, peek-a-boo pocket square is a brilliant one. Its little details like this that count. Well done Tom.

DAVID BECKHAM  You can always count on him to look good in or out of a suit. He looks perfectly dapper in this stripped suit matched with a polka dot pocket square.

KANYE  WEST       All black everything. Love him or hate him you've got to admire his unique style. Notice how he wore different shades of black and then chose to accessorize with the silk polka dot pocket square.

DANIEL CRAIG   MR. 007 sure looks like a man you can trust to rescue a damsel in distress.  He pairs a classic black dinner suit with a white dress shirt, matching pocket square and a black bow tie. This look is both simple and fabulous.

DWAYNE  WADE  No one should ever look this hot. D-Wade looks incredible in this pattern suit jacket to which he added flair with a silk scarf as pocket square. Check out the Hublot watch and trademark finger wrap. Flawless. I love you Dwayne.

CHARLES  BARTHOLOMEW     Chuck Bass  the baddest boy on the upper east side definitely has two things going for him; his wealth and his flamboyant style. Chuck pairs a dark blue suit, blue and white striped shirt, blue patterned tie with a yellow and blue pocket square and red suspenders. This look is totally FAB!!!

LIAM HEMSWORTH    The Hunger Games actor  looks delightfully dapper in this double breasted suit. I absolutely LOVE this!!! The suit, the tie and most especially the pocket square.



 

OHIMAI ATAFO   The amazing designer is known for making bold fashion statements with his outfit whenever he steps out. He looks stylish, i really like how he played with about four colors and still managed not to go over the top. The pocket square is just right!!.

MATTHEW BOMER     Handsome and smart  Neal Caffrey also has good taste when it comes to clothes. He is impeccably dressed in this three piece well-tailored suit that fits like a glove. The straight fold white pocket square is a great touch.

USHER wins it in this stone colored Emporio Armani suit. The black and white checked shirt with the coordinating black and white polka-dot tie and pocket square create a perfect look.

DENZEL WASHINGTON    This right here is a man on fire. He shows his sexy style in a tailored double-breasted suits fit for a king. Notice how he matches the color of the suit, the shirt, the tie and that of the pocket square.

NEIL PATRICK HARRIS  The legendary  Barney Stinson is "yoda" in a suit. I mean he looks wait for it .....  AWESOME!!!!.  I'm really digging the polka dot tie and the pocket square.

Jon Hamm    Don Draper – Mad Men. He has got to be the most dapper guy on TV. This guy is a pro. when it comes to  crisp white pocket squares. I mean just take a second look at him.

ITS A LOVE STORY

I'm a huge romantic and such a sucker for happy endings, so you can easily understand why this is one of my favorite love songs. "Love Story" is a country pop song by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. Its a  musical adaptation of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. The lyrics are from the perspective of Juliet Capulet. There is however, a pleasant twist to the story. Taylor replaced Romeo and Juliet's original tragic conclusion with a happy ending. The "happy ever after" is what makes this love song an extraordinary one. I highlighted my favorite parts of the song. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
